Back from Spa: Kinetic Joins Dropbox at the Belgian Grand Prix

We’ve just returned from an unforgettable weekend at Spa-Francorchamps, where Kinetic was invited to join Dropbox for an exclusive European partner experience.

The event brought together just 12 partners from across EMEA to celebrate shared success, discuss what’s next, and enjoy world-class racing at one of the most iconic circuits on the F1 calendar.

We’ve worked with Dropbox since 2011, became an official UK partner in 2015, and continue to build on that relationship. This invitation was a brilliant recognition of the work we do together and the value we deliver to customers across the UK.

Of course, this wasn’t just about one person or one weekend. It is the result of ongoing trust from our customers and the efforts of the wider Kinetic team behind the scenes. These are the people who support, deliver and integrate Dropbox into our clients’ day-to-day operations.

Like any long-standing relationship, it hasn’t always been straightforward. There have been moments where we’ve looked at other options, trialled alternatives or questioned the direction. But throughout it all, Dropbox has remained a core platform for many of our customers. Reliable, simple, secure. It just works.

Spending time with senior Dropbox leaders Deb McClure and David Keogh at Spa only reinforced that. Hearing first-hand what’s coming next, particularly around Dropbox Dash, a new AI tool that helps you find what you need across all your apps in one place, gave us real confidence in the roadmap and renewed energy for what’s ahead.

Highlights from the weekend:

  • VIP access to the Grand Prix and a McLaren 1–2 finish

  • Conversations with Dropbox leadership and partner teams

  • Excellent food, the occasional drink, and plenty of Belgian weather

  • Connecting with peers from across Europe who share the same drive

Only in Spa can you get sunburnt and soaked in the same afternoon.

From Eau Rouge to the podium, waffles to wet tyres, the trip was packed with energy, laughs and great company. The gallery below captures just a few moments from the weekend. Thanks to everyone who shared their photos and helped make it one to remember.

A huge thank you to Janina, Lydia, Selim, Natalie and the wider Dropbox team, and to Ingram Micro for their support behind the scenes.

In the end, it’s not just about the platform. It’s about who you build it with.
